Why should you record at FBS

1). We are a commercial recording studio, what that means is.  We record your music on a regular basis be it; Rock, Hip-Hop, Gospel, R&B, Country, Metal, Rap, Folk.. Ect, ect.

2). The equipment: Real outboard gear, real microphones.  Why pay the same cost at project studio / home studio for less quality equipment… Quality of the equipment equals the quality of your recording.

3).  The rooms:  We are a 3,000 sqft recording studio with high ceilings. Most project studios are located in a house that is half our size… Who wants to record leaning against a stove and not seeing the engineer in the in bedroom, I mean his “control room”.  Drums and piano sounds really bad in a room with eight foot ceiling.

4). This is for the folks that are “Star Struck”…….Yes we have awards hanging on the wall. Yes we have recorded artist you have heard of on the radio.. Yes the music that we have recorded is in regular rotation on many radio stations.. With that said, it is your own accomplishments that make you successful.

Fastback Custom Guitars have been designed in partnership with Emerald City Guitars, Kelley Design Works & Fastback Studios. Each and every guitar is exclusively designed and built for the player by players. Fastback Guitars are a hand crafted, American made retro instrument stocked with Lollar pickups. These custom guitars are modeled for the classic guitar slinger in you.  These guitar will be in stock at Emerald City Guitars in October 2010.

Levi Kreis, pianist on West Valley Highways latest release just won a Tony Award for Best Performance Actor in the Musical; Million Dollar Quartet. Congrats Levi!

Looking to learn on how to be an audio engineer, work along side the staff at Fastback Studios.  This apprenticeship program will allow you to be apart and work on the set up, recording, editing & mixing session’s.

This program is for people that are serious on making audio engineering a career.

45 hours is required to be a part of this apprenticeship program, cost is $1,000.00
