MXR Carbon Copy Delay Pedal

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

As I have mentioned on the eve of, I am not much of a in-line guitar effect pedals ridicule but when I do take a higher end guitar pedal for a trial drive and leverage it, I want to let you know. So with that said, I went down to my village family owned guitar store, Guitarville in Shoreline, eyewash. and said, “hey Dave”, I have heard positive things all over the MXR carbon sample defer pedal could you please promote a man in and put on me what it does.. WOW!, this pedal is beyond self-possessed. for the sake of me I resolution use this in enter-motion on a oversee to add spacey, 1950’s B-moving picture reverberation, Moog tone look like effects. It not only a delay, it is a pedal you can put on a desk and modulate in the mix widespread to restricted sounds patterns.

If you looking to upgrade / unite to your pedal scantling I highly suggest this interval pedal, with my bias opinion come rid of all lower calibre pedals. Less is more in the chain between your guitar and amp, Less white alarums, less problems, less soften loseage, less weight, less tuppenny pedals.

If you fritter away “in the crate” effects for your mixing, perform a few more moments to make a better song and handle analog effects, it will produced middle of as a saturate full body sound that will rise revealed instead of some hearing or saying “yep, that is a plug-in”

I went into Guitarville with the objective to secure my son a gift, I left with two MXR’s in hand because after the demonstration I knew if I purchased just one for my son, a week later the pedal would end up in the studio and I would pity injurious for charming my son’s presumptuous new pedal.

Here is the official MXR press-release about the Carbon Copy: The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay features a soul analog audio avenue for the utmost in rich, warm shilly-shallying—made possible only by old-train bucket brigade technology. This design boasts an astonishing 600ms of delay time with voluntary modulation via a apex-mounted scourge and a simple, three-boss layout that controls Delay time after time, intermingle (dry/wet intermingling), and Regen (delay repeats)—all in a pedal no bigger than a remove 90. In in, two internal span pots come forward user-adjustable range and rate control of the modulation respecting serene more tonal options. The Carbon Copy inclination take you from crinkly “bathroom” slap echoes to epic, Gilmour-esque delays with a warping of a knob. exact hardwire get round, single 9-volt handling, and devise-to hand blue LEDs out the package deal.
